Hmm, the irony of me posting a weather thread given I whinge about them all the time, never mind though, this is general discussion after all, so lets have a general discussion!

Anyone else think the weather this Summer has been particularly rubbish?

I think we've had barely a single day so far this August where it hasnt been raining or overcast, and we've probably had about 5-6 days of FOG right through the middle of the day!

I guess thats it for the Summer, right? :(
 
Dunno about fog during the middle of the day, yesterday was really hot during the daytime, have had a couple of decent weekends through july/august so far, but a bit of a let down really! booooo!!
 
Here in Liverpool the weather's been utterly rubbish. It's not been sunny for longer than 3 days without one of rain. I'd heard it was better down South, and most of Europe was going through a heatwave though.
 
Here in the South-East I would say it has been a particularly good summer, sunny and dry, and fortunately the unbearable heat waves haven't lasted too long. Typically the temperature has been around an entirely comfortable 24-26 degrees. Sure it's raining hard today, but that's good too because my garden desperately needs some watering :cool:
 
Here it's been just fine and nothing to complain about. Guess what we’ve finally got some rain. :D
 
In London and the South East it's been awesome, not many wash out days recently. Don't forget there was a period for around 2 weeks when it was 25+ degrees every day. It was horrendous commuting on the train.
 
From what I heard from friends in London they've had an absolutely fantastic last few months? It didn't even rain at Wimbledon!

The last 3 years utterly and completely sucked hard though, the last good summer in the UK was in 2006 IIRC.

Only a couple weeks now Fox isn't it, then you'll have some proper summer weather :D
 
Gotta say for the last few years I have little idea what's supposed to be what atm.

I'm sure I'm noticing more and more extreme or weird weather in the news. Or perhaps everything is finally starting to bore me and I'm reading about the weather..
 
Makes it even worse that you guys have had it good! It's rained almost non stop for weeks here now and when it doesn't rain its been overcast :(
 
It was sunny for a few days in June I think, maybe a couple in July and none in August so far. But it seems really humid and still warm, just really cloudy so no sun. :(

Why was I born in this overcast craphole? :mad:
 
Weathers been good here except the last week or so.

Considering the weather for the previous 3 Summers before this, I'd say it's been fantastic
 
Last two weeks have been poor but overall since May it's been excellent. Last year was one of the worst summers I can remember.
