This looks really interesting, gonna try catch it someways this weekend, based on the book but the concept could very well be a reality given how close to home it is.

I ended up making time today and started ep 1 after this post. So far so good, quite mysterious so far, but tense at the same time. Not read the novel, but so far all is well.

usual low budget tv stuff aimed at re-educating people
The Rig came out around the same time and had the same kinda message but better

still low budget average tv series though
both probably funded by Greenpeace and just stop oil

Might be low budget but still enjoyable and doesn't look low budget visually unlike some effects in recent AAA movies.. I've seen the rig and whist it's good I've enjoyed this more as it has a different take on the whole concept with better visuals and sound direction.

Finished it, overall good but I can see why some didn't like it as the ending is a massive cliff hanger since there's not gonna be an S2 :/

Good while it lasted though.

and that's me not bothering, then. getting 'ing sick of that happening, if they're gonig to bin a series they could at least give them a courtesy extra ep or two to wrap up the plot if possible.

Same. Have seen the opening episode, but will probably not bother with the rest if it's already been cancelled.

I enjoyed this, it was in a different league to The Rig, just a shame it got cancelled after finishing on a cliffhanger

Well I'm up to ep3 and have been surprised by this actually being very decent.

TV scifi is usually plagued with execrable actors and dreadful writing but this isnt bad at all. Shame it's cancelled :mad:

Will enjoy the rest of the season anyway
