If these miracle kids were provably and reliably telepathic, they'd already have been put to work by the likes of Google and Amazon - No need to spend loads of money on data-harvesting companies to hack and monitor your PC and internet traffic, when you can just extract the data directly from peoples' heads...!!

Yeah a red flag if you take that as the whole story and completely ignore the body of work she went on to produce.

I'm one of the Worlds biggest sceptics, it takes a lot to get past me and nothing does but here's two stories from the 80s.
The setting was a large factory, the only phone was in a managers office so if somebody rang they would come and get you while arranging somebody to do your job so what I'm saying is these people could not have been rang.
Neither had anybody come in late and passed information.

1) My Sister in law who is a twin.
She came running to me screaming saying her Sister was having the baby, I asked how she knew but she said "I know and my stomachs hurting".
Everybody thought she was mad but I had permission to run her up to Maternity where my other Sister in Law was having the baby.

2) A workmate next to me who also had a twin brother on the factory.
He suddenly went into shock saying his brother was hurt and he needed to get to him.
Again we all thought he was mad but one of the lads ran over several assembly lines to see where his brother was - he hadn't turned in.
He had been in an RTA and taken to hospital.

I have no explanation.

Plenty of other people have produced huge volumes of 'work', despite having had their credentials rubbished.
What I'm waiting for is someone other than the original source of this stuff to some along and peer review it. Once you have a large number of different people all showing the same results, then we can start marvelling at how a few randoms are all psychic....

But then you have to contend with the fact that the overwhelming majority of humans do not have special powers, so while the idea of some IRL X-Men sounds great, it doesn't really do anything for society as a whole aside from furnishing us with a neat trick for parties.
