Anyone watched this, its political satire of hillarious despair and it makes you wonder so much about the machinations of politics. Anyone else watched it?
I caught bits it when it was on but never really fully watched it, but I get the feeling if I did watch it now I would spend half the time looking for signs of nonceness. There is a film version of this coming out soon produced by the same people, but obviously starring someone else, called "In The Loop", which bizarrely also has James Gandolfini in it.
Dead good; cracking stuff and superb black humour. It's like Yes, Minister on amphetamines & steroids after 10 years of bodybuilding and nine pints of lager.
Just wish I could get the two specials on DVD. Can only find one of them.
Its all available on yutube. Its very very good and a yes, minister as the earlier poster stated. Paranoid, slightly delusional and neurotic in large measures but so eerily right, its become hillariously real but dismal as well.
Top stuff.
Yes in the Loop is the film released today. It is beyond satire into the realm of mental patient.
