Checked and i still had SoTTR installed. This is on my 2080 Asus Dual (non OCd)

Here's same settings as the Radeon RX6800 2560x1440 (menu is in native 3440x1440) RT high and all the other settings like in the twitter pic. Had gsync disabled for it so it didnt interfere.

Seems to me like the 6800 / XT will have 2080ti - ish perf in RT. Overall pretty good i guess? Unless there was a reason to disabled the other settings ( like for ex dropping perf more on it vs nv )

tnx mate.

I think the RX 6800 reference model could end up being faster/about equal to a 10% overclocked RTX 3070. I suppose it could then be described as good value...

@Th0nt didn't know that, remade the comparison (
1440p 2080ti rt video here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-JdNmeJvUk
4k 2080ti rt video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHG_-k9CBhc).

Can't find 2080ti benches with RT on high only, and i also dont have Shadow of TTR installed anymore to test myself the difference between high and ultra to compare...

Thanks Chris thats a really nicer indicator now, I didnt see the score on the left I went by the FPS result on the right which is how I notices there was potential to compare them.

I think you are correct, it will be similar to 2080Ti in RT and will improve by up to 20% once they get better devs on it. It will vary game to game but newer titles should be able to stretch it further given time.

Im not a RT whore yet so cant see myself itching to toggle it on if you know what I mean but at least the options there. It may also get a boost when the AMD version of DLSS kicks in so we may see nice uplift from that too.

Tuber/reviewers are going to be busy in November! :p

Np i also posted an image showing my benchmark results with same settings (from what i could tell) to the rx6800 at 1440p on my 2080.

Any news about a RTX 3070 TI?

Pretty sure the Supers won't be released for 6-12 months, if at all. As products, Supers don't make much sense for NV this generation, except for an RTX 3090 Super, but it would probably be a called a RTX 3090 TI instead.

I'm thinking it would go up against the RX 6800, at about £550-£570, probably based on the same GA102 die as the RTX 3080 / 3090. Maybe with just 10GB GDDR6 VRAM though, to reduce costs.

I wouldnt worry about it yet, by time its here your into 2021. Shame for the people still waiting for 3080's if the Super/Ti come in before they get chance to play on theirs. :(

hoping them to release the reviews asap, I really want to see the benchmark numbers confirmed by third parties

Same. I think earlier benchmarks from multiple partners would be a good hint at decent stock availability, but I'm not holding my breathe given how many people are after new cards.

Why? That would be a good thing, cheaper card availability, similar perf. They could cancel and get a (hypothetical) RTX 3070 TI instead.

I'd imagine this GPU would be a reference model only, overclocked versions could be too close to the RTX 3080.

They shouldnt have to cancel a card they paid upfront for and sat there for weeks/months.

I've read all 26 pages of this thread. Interesting stuff and well done AMD.
Im waiting for Zen4 and I'm going to watch the 6800XT reviews very carefully. I have AMD gfx now, but I want to see a massive improvement in GPU offloading before I go red again. I hate Nvidia's price gouging, but when I spend more time editing photos and videos than I do blowing aliens heads off, then sadly for me, Nvidia seem to be better with their drivers for this.
I'm hoping that this might improve in time for Zen 4
