Agreed but it seems a fair bit faster too. I think the later 6700 will be 3070 perf for cheaper.

I thought this. Thought generally AMD had a bigger gap between X and non-X products meaning most people would generally choose the non-X version. Feels similar to the Ryzen prices in a way.

Well, the 3090 is sure dead anyway. The non-XT 6800 seems a little pricey compared to the 3070 though. I reckon a lot will be tempted by that if there's availability.

Isn't the 6700 and 6700xt the real 3070 competitor?

Thank god the 3080 was hard to get otherwise I'd have ended up with one. At £999, it would be rude not to get a 6900XT
