I reckon the 3080ti will be out before xmas to try and compete.

I missed most of it, do AMD still support crossfire? I fancy a couple of 6900xt :)

How does a game perform with no smart memory access, rage and RT on?

6800XT is the best of the SKU.
6900XT overpriced.

Are you smoking crack? They're competing with a card that costs 1500 and is basically impossible to buy for 500 less. Overpriced? Think you need to do a bit of neck winding.

There was a lot of information in that presentation and I'm not sure where to start. AMD certainly managed to keep a tight lid on the SAM technology which looks very interesting, it will certainly encourage people to buy an all AMD system but it makes me worry that AMD will not be so shy when it comes to anti competitive practices going fowards.

I think we're relatively safe there as they have two very big competitive rivals.

The problem is the RTX3070 might only have 8GB of VRAM against the RX6800 16GB and is a bit slower, but its also $80 cheaper.

BTW,I have listed the relevant slides in the second post.

3090 cancelled.

DLSS and RTX are still a major pull, but i'll need to see benchies first.

I'd still be tempted by a 3090FE if it turns out benchies tell a different story, but the ever increasing prices of the partner boards is unappealing.

Would like to see a 6900XT under water please with a 5000 series CPU, which i'm ready to purchase anyway. Might make team red the obvious choice... :/
