AMD have great cpu's that are probably superior to Intel currently. I don't think you can say that about their gpus. History says they are second best to nvidia. Even if the new gen is great, it'll take a little convincing people.

Exactly. They didn't do the CPU thing over night, it took 3 generations. So seeing as this is their second recent major crack at the GPU crown we've got one more before they are probably on top/almost on top/close to the top..
