I'm sorry but... LOL![]()
The last time you LOL'ed it was totally irrelevant/wrong/pointless, at the EK9 thread, so what are you laughing at this time?

Yet this person conceded my point?![]()
They do over-read, but not by that muchIt tends to engage at 6000-6200. Definitely not 5600 though, even the ITR was 5800?
Can't understand wanting one of these when they are more expensive than the newer ones.

They're suppose to be real good fun B-road cars and good on the track.
What part of "but not by that much" and "definitely not 5600" did you not understand?
It isn't as focussed, it doesn't have an LSD, it is heavier etc.
Like you thought the EK9.org thread was when you commented on it? Probably without reading it?

The weight difference isn't massive, about 100kg? You're really going to notice the lack of an LSD on the IOW are you? Especially when I'd imagine it has computer gizmos and newer suspension setup to make up for that.
It is a fair bit over 100KG, but even a 100KG is a fair bit.
Yes, I will notice the lack of LSD anywhere?
Not sure what "computer gizmos" you speak of, and I'm fairly certain that the EK9 has the better suspension setup.
The EP3 was far more compromised, which is why you'll hear a lot of Honda fanboi's claiming that the EP3 and FN2 are not "real" Type-Rs when compared to what the EK9/DC2 were about.
EK9 is something like 1090 and the EP3 is 1200~, so just over the weight of a standard passenger?
You will notice the lack of LSD on a standard IOW road? How the hell do you drive?
Computer gizmos - the same way BMW get away with not fitting an LSD to anything other than the M cars now because they have all the other bits of software which try and replicate it.
If you cannot see how 110kg+ (1090 is the weight for a fully loaded EK9) is a significant weight saving, I see little point in entertaining this argument.
I see you've never driven a car with a LSD then? Its absence will be especially evident at any corner that requires slowing down and accelerating out of, when on a spirited drive. Plus my potential car needs to be "track suitable" where LSD becomes even more important, IMO.
But they don't replicate it? Traction/stability control is not a replacement for LSD, which is exactly why BMW (as used in your example) still fit a LSD to the M3 etc. So I refer to my previous statement that you've clearly never driven a car with LSD, or understand what it does.
