This is exactly the thing (as Fox said), people dont really care if you own a house or not, but if you are a compulsive liar they will ignore you in future.

Why is it so difficult for you (Mike) in this particular case to say, yeah ok I made that up, I dont own a house. It doesn't make you the devil, it just means you got carried away on a forum as many people can do.

The way in which you've attempted, and completely failed, to skirt round everything in this thread is frankly obscene, you obviously value your 'internet credibility' over your daily life and that is quite disturbing.

They appear to know a lot about Mike though, so much so he refuses to answer questions until he knows where they got the (clearly correct) info from.
 
What? I couldn't give a **** about "internet credibility" - either way this thread will never be lived down on here, I just want to know who has been divulging my personal information, however much of it is truthful or otherwise.

If you care about privacy of your personal situation, why post so much crap about it in the first place? This is all of your own making. You're the one that continued to lie and mislead and now you've got the arse because you've been found out in a big big way.

You care about it more than you should, far far more. Its almost obsessive. Also demonstrated by the insane lengths you will go to defend it too.

As said, it is obviously correct information, so you needn't answer that question now :)

You know, you're right. This forum would be much better if people were allowed to run wild, posting blatant lies and no one questions it. Much better with new car threads about cars people don't own and showing off houses they don't own. Much better because no one cares right?

Because If it turns out that he's lied about this it questions what little he has of his creditability massively. He hands out advice to members all the time - Are you happy to take on board and act on the advice of a compulsive liar who would lie about such relatively insignificant (given the fact that this is a motoring forum) things?

In which case why have you put yourself into such a position. Lies or not, boasting to people on the internet to up your "internet credibility" got you in this mess in the first place. If you kept your mouth shut and just talked about cars you wouldn't be in nearly the mess you are now.

Of course it matters. A community is nothing without integrity.

He chose to discuss this info. Nobody is asking you if you have a house - because you didn't try to make us believe you did te support points you made in internet debates...
