The technician in the workshops said on Monday they were going back and he thought it was this weekend.

That and the TV being left on channel 4+1 made me think I had forgotten!

I don't mind the cold, it's just getting up in the morning and it still being dark, it's about as depressing as it gets, the concept of snuggling down by a fire etc is very appealing though

better if it's snowing out

This is why you need an alarm clock like mine. It receives a radio signal every so often to keep itself updated.
