I <3 BBC News.
I'll go to the BNP and EDL website if I want to read what The Times have to say.
Why do we need these massive news corps anyway? They don't make the news, they merely report on it!
I foresee I will get my news from blogs, random websites, YouTube, facebook etc etc over the next decade.
With the internet we simply don't need the old and tired newspaper companies.

You don't get any decent quality investigative journalism from sources like that. Most of the time its just ripped from the "real" media.
So, to you, a reasonable report on the economic crisis affecting Greece would be,
"Greece spent a bit too much, Germany's helping them out"
?
You literally want to know ~something~ happened, but not how or why?

BBC news will always be free, Why would I pay for someone else to tell me the same news?
I know rupert murdoch has been on about paying for news for a while, not to sure what he owns thoughDidn't some US publication go paid too?
I hope it dies a death, before more go that way.
I get my news for free from sickipedia, and it's hilarious.
