Watched this with no prior knowledge…

It’s pretty insane what someone could do their significant other, with no remorse. It left me devastated and angry on behalf of those affected.

I wont spoil it for those that haven’t seen it, but the sums of money spent in this are outrageous.

Yeah no spoilers but the outcome was infuriating! Speak about catfishing on a whole new level. What a total ***************** !!!!!

Can't believe he's making Cameo videos and back to his Insta lifestyle, hopefully he'll get some real punishment. Great job with the revenge at least. I have sympathy for the victims but I do question some of their very impaired judgement, there were some glaring red flags.

Yeah there's one part of the series where one of the girls says she received abuse online from people telling her she was an idiot, which she didn't deserve, but at the same time, she did.
Some of them barely had what I'd call a relationship with him, taking out huge loans was just moronic.

I get how they could be convinced he was rich with all the flights etc, but maybe it's just the pessimistic part of me that wouldn't give even my closest friends 30k..

Maybe it was the way that it was edited, but that Norwegian girl met him for coffee then was boarding a private jet the next day

I don’t want to call her a gold digger but that was downright mental behaviour.

Like you said, it came across like they’d only had 2 dates and the rest of the time he’d been stringing her along on WhatsApp. Yet she was quick to take out huge loans.

One of the parts I found hard to stomach was that the Norwegian girl met the scrotes child, and childs mother. But no warning was ever given.

How are there people out there like that.

Because at the sad end of the day these women are so enthralled by the potential glamour potential...... That's not victim blaming I think it's just natural.

Lot of potential

Its a really tricky one because I feel for the women but some basic googling would have saved them a lot of problems. Its not as bad as the 50 year old ropey white women who get scammed out of their life savings by a handsome young black man from somewhere in Africa but come on, the women weren't unattractive but they weren't "I am a billionaire and can have any woman I want" pretty. People need to have a little common sense to realise that its suspicious when a billionaire falls for them and when hes asking for a few thousand pounds because "people are after him".

Still astounding that he basically got away with it all and is by all accounts now profiting from a documentary which should have ruined his life.

I made a sly comment about how this chap has essentially just become the megladon of payback for the thousands of blokes on Tinder who were 'scammed' into buying dinners  got slapped.

I'd say it was definitely verging on gold digger. I'd be willing to bet that if the guy wasn't rich, she wouldn't have given him a second look.

It was the fact that all of a sudden this rich guy had paid her some attention and then offered her a flight on a private plane. IIRC she slept with him on the first night of meeting him as well.

I'd heard of romance scams years ago in the news, and was always bewildered how women fell for them. The tinder swindler scheme was much more elaborate and could see how some of these women fell for it, so kudos to them for raising awareness about not taking huge loans out for anyone you've not known for very long.

Amazing how he managed to do all that and even had the energy for it.

Loved the last girl that was still selling off his fashion gear :D

Either he'd purchased two of the same outfit, but I'm sure when they show him getting in the Ferrari at the end of the film he's got one of the same Gucci jumpers on.

If she's got any items left she should definitely mention that they're the property of the Tinder Swindler. It might trigger a bit more cash for her

Oh definitely... I'm under no illusions that the lure of "billionaire" on his Tinder profile was the tipping point. I just find it completely mental for someone to dive on a private jet 24hrs after first meeting a stranger and even more crazy how they were willing to continually take out loans without any form of payment.

It's obvious that the PDF of the "payments" he made to them were fake but I don't get how he strung them along for as long as he did without payment. The final girl shown on the film said that she had been in a relationship with him for 14 months, so I have to believe that some of his victims were used as a slow burn i.e. some he met, got their cash quickly and ran off (Norwegian girl) others he dated for a while before asking for the money.

With any luck he's made some real enemies now. Watching him squirm was incredibly satisfying, watching him living it large again was depressing.

How he managed to keep all the lies straight in his head is completely beyond me. I admit I chuckled when they showed him making a video for one girl, then it cut to a second video of the same message to another girl in the same clothes (obviously made minutes apart).

Let's be honest... the film will make it hard for him to use social media to get on dates but there's nothing stopping him picking up girls in clubs and giving them a fake name, so they can't Google him. As you say... it was depressing to see him get away with it!

but I don't get how he strung them along for as long as he did without payment.

Yeah it definitely shines the light on some of the naivety of some of these women. He was obviously very good at making them feel guilty about not helping him.

I don't know if it is always naivety though, it's not like only the naive can be manipulated.

I said to the wife, if I responded to her efforts to get money to help me with “******* sort this **** out”, she’d tell me where to go!
