The thread is about the PR disaster that has been the PS3 launch, he's in the right place with the comments he is making. Deal with it and move on, the PR has been a major disaster as there are a lot of agrieved people out there. The gaming launch line-up isn't all that and with Sony being last to the starting line you might've thought they'd have tried something special. Personally I don't care either way, at the moment it does fit my needs so I'm buying one. For people who were looking top buy it solely as a games machine I can see why they're a bit miffed.

The people arnt estatic about the PS3 will always continue to be here, thats still no excuse for you in particular ElRazur to determine what is deemed ok to talk about and what isnt.
Joebob once again you take the whole thing towards a personal attack on you. The only part regarding you was as you cant deny is slagging MS for their OS and publicly stating in the past your anti microsoft.
Thats fine thats your decision but it automatically makes you biased in such debates.
I dont stoop to the low levels or personal abuse or like your buddy ElRazur has now done with silly threads.

I dont mind anyone having a favourite system. I wont stand for anyone like ELRazur branding an unproven system as the best thing since sliced bread and disregarding what any other peoples views are on it. Anyone that doesnt agree hes slagging them on personal level just because he or others went out and got an import to show off with.
Instead i judge each system on what it accomplishes or has available to play.
People opinions always differ but facts are facts and some of the PS3 fanboys here seem to overlook facts.
Its too early for me to get a PS3 or Wii yet as unlike some i wont just rush out and get a system with no games on it that i deem worthy as yet to purchase that system for.
Can i point out you look and see how many people have bought a wii and now have or are trying to sell it. Hype caught hold of them and now they discovered after the limited play they got from the games they bought that the system is currently seeing a rather dry spell on the release schedule.
Ill argue blind with anyone that states what the PS3 is going to become, instead i look at what its got going for it not what its possibly going to have tomorrow. If i disagree with their opinion and they disagree with mine thats freedom of speech and the luxury we have that OcUK even tolerate it on these boards.
We should however strive to make it less silly and childish.
As for taking it personal you need to talk to ElRazur about that, hes got a bit of a temper and spoilt little kid attitude, that last stunt was pathetic.

Yes, Sony's PR has been abysmal at best, yes they are "expecting" people to buy a PS3 on the back of brand loyalty and yes, the PS3 is a very high price if all people want is a new games machine.....
but I still want one, I can afford one and I can justify the price to myself as I want HD. So I guess it boils down to justification really? Complaining about the price will not change things so maybe a 360 or Wii is a better choice for pure "gamers" only?
With the tech-savvy people on this forum I would have expected a large proportion to want the next HD video sources but I am surprised that this is not the case.
Also, without a HIGH CAPACITY drive as stock, I can honestly see the future is bright for PS3. It harks back to a feature in Sinclair User about "never being able to fill a CD's 650Mb capacity for a game so why not stick to floppies" scenario.
Better sound, more textures, bigger levels etc etc. Surely it must be the future?

In many threads you have shown your PS3 love, even the "Xbox 360 show your system thread". Sure you make it look like a joke sometimes but you still like to show your love for your favourite system. Is it fair to assume your well known for your fanboy remarks regarding PS3?
