ok, i bought this game the other day after seeing a brief thred on it here and i must say its a real nice game... but ive got some issues and wonderd if you guys are having the same problems ???


Problems:
1) the ship suddenly becomes REALLY sluggish as if your hauling cargo for no reason and stays like that till you restart the game.

2) the gun turrets occasionally decide to go cockeyed and no longer fires in the direction of the crosshair, requires restart of the game to fix it.

3) im buying items but my credits arnt going down when i do... to me this just feels like cheating and makes it all a little pointless.

4) have had the odd crash.

Yeah, the makers say many problems were fixed by the 1.2beta patch, but others are still reporting problems.
I was going to buy this game but now i am not so sure, seems to have lots of bugs.

its all to do with how the game checks the dvd is in the drive a zillion times a sec whilst you play causing slowdowns and other problems
also if you use a no-cd crack or image to play it, it wont work, not that im implying you have aquired a copy of the game *cough*

They got over zealous with the copy protection and stuffed up basically. But there is a fair few bugs as well. I bought it at my local computer game store before I knew about these probs. Sort of an impulse buy, but fortunately the shop was selling it cheap at the time. I would be annoyed if I bought it full price......if you're thinking of buying it I'd say its best to wait til it hits the bargain bucket tbh. They might have another patch out by then too.

The game itself has some nice touches but it's ultimately a journey in total boredom. Most of the systems are copy & paste jobs, etc...
