Before the easter weekend I order a TRUE from a competitor who lists it as "in stock". Turns out they don't have any. Order another one from a different competitor who says "In Stock" but then guess what.. not in stock.

So I am so frustrated I send a nasty e-mail to Thermalright. Who reply on monday morning to say OcUK have received stock. So I promptly order (it's listed as "in stock").

Now suprisingly my order hasn't shipped (It's in a warehouse queue apparently).

Why is it so hard to get hold of this damn heatsink!!! To make matters worse, I don't even know if it will fit my GA-P35-DS3P v1.1 mobo!!!! :(

On the plus side my slipstream fans arrived today from the USA (because no-one sells the 800 model in the UK).

The 1200 puts out some serious CFM (but it's definately not silent). Hooked up to a Zalman MFC1 plus fan controller - down to 800 - silent. The two 800s are silent (can't tell the difference between low and high on my Zalman controller). They apprently need wearing in for a few days as well due to bearing noise.

All I need now is to replace the damn stock heatsink and I will have a super duper quiet computer!!!

I don't think the P35 DS4 is much different from the DS3P you have and it fits perfectly fine. Hell it even fits in a Lian-Li V2000 that has a metal devider right next to the motherboard.

Thanks but theres 3 different chipset coolers depending on what revision you have (god knows why Gigabyte decided to change it).

Are yours quite as excessive as what's on a DS4 Rev 2.1?

EDIT: Looking at the 2 motherboards side by side, yep it will easly fit.

Also frustrating me here. It is one of few heatsinks that fit my naked CPU and unfortunately the only one out them I want.
