When was the last million people killed? I heard about that big attack a few years ago, some towers in America or something, and that was pretty big at 3,000 - I figured if a million people had been killed by terrorists it would have made the news, but perhaps your sources are better than mine?

Of course, I still recognise that certain groups plan daily to kill as many of their perceived enemies as possible, but that's what so many Muslims are speaking out against, and in no way does that justify the Catholic church protecting known child sex offenders.

Terrorist attacks in western countries is just 1% of the damage terrorists actually make, why do you think our troops are in Afghanistan and Iraq? And I'm not just talking about the Middle East, terrorists in Ireland, Brazil, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, Spain, Panama, the list goes on. Just because you aren't seeing death or political destruction in your country it doesn't mean it isn't happening elsewhere.

Right, my mistake. I assumed you were talking about Islamic terrorists. You know, because a1ex was talking about Islam's religious leaders, but obviously you're talking about all terrorists. Does this mean the Catholic church should be apologising for all child abusers?

If it was really up to the Catholic church child abusers would be hanged. It's just a pity the law and human rights get in the way.
