My homebrew hybrid 2080 Ti is a great performer (16500 TimeSpy GPU score) and even with a 3090 on order, I'm seriously considering where I'd see big gains outside of benchmark scores with a 4K60 monitor. Cyberpunk 2077 looks like it'll be the only thing I care about with a big Ampere advantage in the near future, but there's no sense spending £1500 for better performance in a single game...

IMO Ampere is not for people who are on a 2080 Ti, I currently have a 2080 Ti and have zero plans on getting Ampere, I'll wait until we get a large perf gain with the 4000 series and not an incremental one, It's currently not worth the outlay.
