The Turing RTX 2080 Ti Owners Thread

@ smffy
Like the copper look WC
Would these fittings have been a better choice flow wise?
https://www.wolseley.co.uk/product/-p512288-44/

To be honest its 16mm copper, 1mm thick so a 14mm tube to flow its not restricting anything as the bends are still smooth. The worst point of restriction will always be the blocks.

Worth pointing out i've not always had issues with flow its been in use a year :)

In that same thread they released for the windforce also. A few pages in :) (page.3)
Hi thanks I double and triple checked . Unless I am being incredibly thick (more than possible) that bios for the windforce is the factory one linked there to help a chap unbrick his card that he put the wrong bios on
(That said Indo not understand why the gaming pc ti bios should gimp the windforce if installed on that card)

Your cleared. It's me with the thick brain. Skimming will do these things.

You can always use the leaked ones and evga since gigabyte is a FE board, but warranty and all that may be an issue. I am hopeful they will release one for the windforce.

Won't get you a lot more hz, that's a given. I'd say... Up to 100Mhz more if your not hitting any thermal limits.

In some cases it got folks worst results. Mostly because of thermal and or silicon limit is reached.

Any likelihood of MSI approved BIOS? I’m guessing yes as everyone else is and they wouldn’t be left behind but never owned MSI cards before :)

2080 Ti owners - What are your cards boosting to at 'stock'?

For instance mine goes up to 1935Mhz during Forza 4, and (i think) 1890Mhz during Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

No extra power/manual over-clocks - This is literally doing it automatically.

I thought those who've been tinkering with Turing have said that even if you exceed power limit, you're already hitting the Hz ceiling of the clocks anyway? So it's not going to achieve much by pushing more power?

You're still hitting a power limit along the VF curve, though. So increasing this to a certain point is going to net you higher frequencies at different load, resulting in a higher average frequency. Unfortunately, my Palit doesn't really do much more in the way of 2135MHz, and even that is conditional.

NVIDIA Scanner, which is fairly thorough, results in roughly 2085-2100MHz overclock.
