It's been mentioned in a couple of reviews that nvidia slightly borked the airflow path on the design of the fe shroud, air can't escape as easily as it can on cards with a more vented shroud.

I asked one of the main competitors if the 30th of November ETA is accurate and they replied with "this is the ETA for that card if you order now. If you ordered early there is a high chance it will arrive long before the 30th of Nov."

Thanks. That's my understanding too. Since people elsewhere in this thread have had X Trios delivered from other suppliers, OCUK shouldn't be far behind. I've spoken to them a couple of times and they are being very cautious about providing any information simply because they don't have anything concrete and understandably don't want to make promises they can't keep. It's bloody frustrating, but I'm hopeful the wait won't be anything like the end of Nov!

Sorry if it's already been posted but I was just watching this which has some interesting data in it with graphs from around 5m 20s the first showing the generation leaps from the Maxwell 980ti to the Pascal 1080ti and then that to the 2080ti. It's a good watch.
I dont have a 2080 ti but percentages are often quoted but not always best measure
30 fps to 60fps = 100% increase
60 fps to 90 fps = 50% increase
Same uplift in fps but percentage gets hammered with higher figures
I'm going from 1080ti SLI. Lol
I have two FE cards (one came from a spare machine. Now that runs hot and makes noice! SLI works in some games, was a bit hit and miss so I'm just simplifying things.
Finally got hold of my RTX2080TI and rebuilt my system in a new case!

Has anyone else read the Reddit Nvidia thread on the MSI RTX 2080ti Trio? They say that its missing power balancing circuitry and they have cut corners on it ?
