The Turing RTX 2080 Ti Owners Thread

For me if your spending that much money I would have to wait to get the one I wanted

I've sent them an email (for the Duke), hoping for the best and I'll hold on for some more days.
The fact is that I've applied for my first PayPal Credit purchase and was given a promotional rate of interest 0 (set 18 instalments).
Already changed the pre-order 3 times, the Duke was the last one (about a month ago), if I'd cancel it once again and get the Palit for instance I'd have to pay ~15% interest.
Not advisable innit?

Oooooh, this I did not know! I always thought they were 305w and was getting the XC Ultra (the one I've set my sights on for longest) which had 325w power limit. 366w is insane! Almost as high as the FTW3 Ultra! This changes things :D Thanks!

You're welcome, as a matter of fact is the bios I'm looking to flash on my Duke as well (still considering other options)

Damn it. Been waiting ages for the FE and ended up ordering the EVGA XC Ultra instead, albeit probably a better card anyway.

That’s not due until the end of then month though and even that’s a bit fingers crossed.

Been trying to hold out for the EVGA FTW3 but the FE is so much cheaper than everything else (that's readily available)... But then it also has slight drawbacks on cooling. Decisions decisions...

Newbie question that may have been covered in one of these pages already, sorry!

I run a 1440p 120hz gsync ultrawide and my GTX 1080 is starting to "struggle". ~60fps on a mixture of ultra/extreme settings in Forza Horizon 4.

If I plan on watercooling the card in January, is there any downside to getting the "cheaper" in-stock Palit card now? Normally I just get the strix edition of cards for custom pcb/cooling. But this iteration it seems nvidia has limited the extent of the benefits from custom PCBs.

Theres no downside, all the EVGA ones have is a fancier cooler and bios that pushes the clocks abit more. You can do all this yourself by flashing the bios and save yourself some money, piece of cake.

I know it’s not the most supported but some of the titles I’ve played have it in the past so looking to bump my res to 4K and see how it goes!

Also I have a 1000D case build going on and frankly one would look lost ;)
Holy **** i didnt think you could get a 1000D till now, what a monster! 2 PC's in one tower. I thought the 900D was too big tbh but there you go.
