In the 2080 thread (I think) Gibbo was saying that OCUK has sold 1000 2080ti's but the first batch OCUK received was only 50 units!!! Hopefully bigger batches arrive soon for all those that have pre ordered. He was also talking about the margins are really small in the UK where he cant get the prices any lower on older cards as AIB partners could sell at a higher profit in other regions/countries. I think the margins are very small and sometimes single digit profits per card.

I'm an impulse buyer so stuff needs to be instock and deliverable next day for my trigger finger to hit the buy button.

Hope all those that are waiting for their pre orders before release dont have to wait too long

No offence to Gibbo, but like me he is a salesman and we BS customers all the time.

If they are such small margin, why are they significantly cheaper from other e-tailers that shall not be named? :)

Regardless of the clock speeds it's at a stupid price, was about £200 less last week. Cooler isn't meant to be the best in it either, supposedly just aluminium with no heatpipes.

I have a MSI trio on preorder since last Friday. I think I’ll wait that out especially as the price went up by £100, since I preorder. I think chewbacca is setting the prices.

It'll be a far better card as it has numerous heatpipes in it. Plus you escape the fabled "Asus tax".

Good news. I ordered my MSI Trio Ti from here in the first 5 minutes, so I'm hoping mine will ship in the next couple of days. Quiet weekend coming up, so it would be the perfect time to install it.
