The Turing RTX 2080 Ti Owners Thread

Running a single 2080 Ti FE, never seen the fan past 59% and GPU temp has never topped 78c no matter what game or benchmark I was running (room temp about 21c usually). Usually hovered around 75c and 55% fan speed though, card was at stock.

Two 2080 Ti FE and the top card does get toasty now. Usually tops out at 83c with a 65% fan speed while the bottom one runs about 70/75c with a 55% fan speed roughly.

So basically, 2 Founders Editions in SLI run cooler than 1 Gigabyte triple fan! Are you overclocking those cards?

I've had some weirdness with my Gigabyte card. It is going back. My EVGA XC Ultra is arriving on Thursday which is good. What kind of temps, fan speed and noise are you getting with it?

What weirdness did you have? Temps aren’t as good as I’d hoped but still within the realms of okay. Around 60c when playing SCVI and maybe around 65-70 for more intensive games. That’s with an OC.

It must be my case air flow or something then. I am at 122% power limit and 85c with 95% fans on auto speed. I have an MATX case, but my previous Asus Strix 1080 ti OC never went over 70 in the same case with an OC. Rgh

My 2080ti was that high until I movies the case exhausts away from the wall and upped the CPU fan speed. Dropped down around 5-10c. Also eased back on the OC and changed the GPU fan curve. I do still have to ramped up to 100% speed on the curve, but the fans never seem to stay at 100 for long.

What card do you have?

Edit - sorry just seen which card...

Been blown out by my supplier and now wondering about the Zotac 2080Ti AMP. Anyone on here got one and how’s the cooling if so?

Hi all, got a 2080ti last week, can someone take a look at my Time Spy run and see if the Graphics test 1 and 2 FPS seems right?

https://www.3dmark.com/spy/4782271

Can someone else please run Time Spy and see what you get? Someone said mine seems low and I compared it to another system, link below and that run had 50+% better fps and its the same CPU and GPU

https://www.3dmark.com/spy/4637525

Full specs are 7700k @ 4.8 Gigabyte Z270 Gaming K3 board and 16gb Corsair 3000MHZ DDR4

Thanks all, maybe plucking at nothing but lets see.

Your score is fine for a 2080 Ti

The other one looks very dodgy as the user would need extreme cooling like LN2 to get it that high.

Here is the Time Spy bench thread.

This is your score vs my score vs that outlier. I have an 8700K, which accounts for a lot of my score difference:

That other result is almost certainly glitched, if you look at the expanded GPU details - it does not have any overclocks running at all.

You could probably improve you score by overclocking your memory a bit. Clock is mostly dependent on your cooling.
