There was a time a few GPU generations back that these type of cards offered a nice bonus but these days you get very little for the extra money.

A competitor had stock of the ftw 3 for about 2 weeks in December, started at 1399 got to 1499 when they were almost all gone.

Haha, im interested as its 100% raytraced lighting 1440p/60 and the modders claim it wouldnt be to much of a stretch to scale to more complex modern games.

I played A lot of quake 2 back in the day all this ray tracing doesn't appeal to me .
