Well it's given me a lot more FPS in Apex Legends which is what I mainly play, feels smoother now as I guess minimum FPS is higher and it's more often than not reaching 120 fps which is what my monitor does.Had a 2080Ti and UW, I know

What's it like at stock?
Do you need to overclock it?
As a reference, with no overclock and good case air-flow, I get highs of around 73'C after several hours of gaming. I don't think its a big problem having 81/82C with the additional power limit increase.
I guess the question is around case/gpu your cooling solution?
Is precision X1 any good for overclocking? My FTW3 struggles getting over 1950 (top speed not stable) and with this heat mine, even with fans at 100 %, hits 83 degrees. Wondering if it's software and afterburner works better?
Been a while since not having a waterblock and it sucks!
Thanks for response.I’d say from experience the case is too small (window too close to side of GFX) or poor airflow.
A bit too much (for my taste), I was maxing to 46C with my previous Vector RTX Nickel Acetal (first gen) and then I've replaced it with the newer Vector RTX RE (nickel plexi), I've never seen anything above 42 degrees so far (2070-2085).I don't seem to go above 50 degrees, but I am on full water and it's near silent.
