So any of you stream to Twitch or YouTube Gaming at all (or any other streaming site for that matter)?

I thought this would be a good thread to discuss issues with streaming.

I'm planning on starting live streaming seriously in the new year. I'm just waiting for some kit to arrive. I'm thinking of buying the Blue Yeti microphone, a pop filter and a shock mount for it. Once I have these things I should have everything I need to stream properly. Of course I'll need to open a new Twitter account for communicating with people when I'm not streaming but other than that I should be good to go.

I have a list of games that I'd like to stream that hardly ever get any play time on the main streaming sites so I think there is going to be a gap in the market as these games have quite a loyal and dedicated following.

So what hardware and software do you use for your streaming needs? I've heard that having a really good quality microphone is the most important aspect of live streaming and I'm inclined to agree with the people who say that. I hate it when there is really poor audio quality.

Ah cool thanks for the link. I didn't see that when looking, I'll make sure to check it out.

Also yeah I'll order the microphone today or tomorrow and spend a few days playing around with it to make sure I have it set up correctly before I actually start streaming.
