We are in a position to be offering pricing and pre order for the arrival of stock at the end of next month.

This is an expensive router but is regarded as the best available and will easily outshine the current king the N56U

ORDER NOW

RJK, any word if you're likely to get the N56U back in stock, or is everything now waiting on this release?

Hi bJN

The N56U is on order, I imagine that they will be here early next week. Sadly there was a delay from our distributor that has held up our stock.

Suddenly my N56U feels old.... :(

The N56U is still a superb router, this does eclipse it by a long way in terms of functionality and capability.

I will be honest. I was anticipating a higher price than this on the N66U
its good to see ASUS are getting the pricing competative with the highest end Netgear & Cisco solutions.

possibly, will have to wait until they are in stock as I dont have the physical router to carry out any testing on sadly.

Essentially yeah. This is very much aimed at cable and fttc users

The adsl version will be the same I imagine but with the obvious addition of the adsl features. Sadly I cannot get cable in my area so I will be looking at the adsl model when asus pull their finger out and get that released!

asus have a load of new modems and routers due soon with mental features on all of them

RT-N66U
RT-N56U
RT-N10E
RT-N12E
DSL-N55U
RT-N10U

all of these will be on the OcUK site as soon as they launch and we will be first to market on as many of those products as possible.

thats the reason for the delay if i am going to be frank and honest about the situation.

as soon as they sort it out then they will be here

We are working off a delivery time of any time in the next week or two for this now.

Nothing specific has been arranged yet but our distributor is working closely with us and asus to get the product to market as soon as we can.

it will vary depending on the layout of your home but the range on the N56U covers most of the OcUK building and its surroundings so I would imagine this to be similar.

Stock Due to land today

we have a massive assignment of the UK stock so OcUK is certainly the place to order :)

Yeah I know,
but the thread price is still different to the web price by about £10-14 if you click the link theres a difference :)

The forum post doesn't update when there is price fluctuations.
The reason the price has increased was because I had this listed so early that the cost price wasn't originally established when it went live.

As with all volatile computer hardware, price changes are a regular occurance, not to mention the changes in the dollar rate from the time of listing to the time we got stock.

If I am honest, I'm just glad the pricing didn't change more.

I would personally look at the adsl version. You will get great performance from it still. No point getting the n66u if you have adsl unless you want to use it with a seperate modem I guess

Notice these are back on preorder again, any ETA for more stock?

Basically there is no stock in the UK distribution channel at the moment.

I have more on order and they should be here next week.

I am speaking to our suppliers daily to try and sort this out.
