Hi guys,

As above, I can't login to the only account on a laptop - I'm greeted with the above warning...

I want to enable the admin account, get all the data copied off and, create a new user account and then bin the corrupted profile.

Any ideas?

I get this with AVG on Windows 7 every now and again. Reboot in safe mode, run system restore back to a few days ago and it should be ok then.

IIRC you can get in on safe mode, Windows makes a backup profile for all profiles and it's a quick regedit to swap them. Reboot and then the backup profile takes over and gets you back in and the "what was broken" profile gets written over and updated. I found how to do it from Google a long time ago.

That was exactly what I did, as per the vid :)
