The Vampire Diaries...avoid!

Yes, the series with the latest episodes has finally kicked into high gear at last.
 
now come on, even with some parallels with twiglet, vamp diaries is much better, for one reason..

Damon!

After all, he's moody, he's mean, he's going to kill you and it wont bother him in the slightest.

And of course, here's his opinion on twiglet..

 
Ya the show has defo stepped up a notch in recent episodes !

I was forced to watch it at the start by my Mrs but now im just as addicted as she is.
 
I've seen a few the movie twilight and some eps of true blood....

Vampire Diaires is simply outstanding, this is getting in to my top 3 fav series of all times, it does start off a little slow but my word my wife and I literally cant stop wtching it... The story line is far better than that of the above 2!
 
this show didnt have a great start but now its just fantastic! very much like how I found Spartacus: blood and sand (poor start imo)

please dont write it off after 1 or 2 episodes

most Tv series that I have seen I have always found the first few episodes as not so great.

Totally agree, its very annoying the thread is still titled as it is!

To be honest I think this is the best vampire series you can get!!!
 
But how long does it take to get to that? How many **** episodes would I have to sit through before it got any good? Is it worth me watching a current episode to see if it's any good or would it spoil it completely/I wouldn't get it?

I have to say I was completely wrong about this.

I feel it was marketed as a Twilight rip off and it looks and sounds like a Twilight rip off if you try and explain it to people.

Yet weirdly it's good. The characters are very good (although Stephan is a bit too 'Angel' at times) and the story gets a lot better after 3 or 4 episodes.
 
I watch this. :o

I hope they eventually explain how the Originals went from being mortals to becoming vampires. :confused:

It's really bugging me. :p

I agree with you on this one, my wife was always trying to get me to watch it, i thought the same same you (about twilight) but after a few episodes it does get better.
