Can amyone help me with my problem.......my squape came this morning and the lads stuck a coil in there. The 510 screw was screwed too far in and as such it reads non on my mvp2. Now heres the confusing part, the further I screw the 510 out the higher the coil reads. Its read as low as 0.8 and as high as 2.4?!

Please does anyone know what the hell is up here :confused:

Yeah, forget the volts, worry about the wattage. What atty are you using? If its one with the replaceable heads they do have a tendency to fluctuate, or not be higher or lower than advertised, its normal. All the more reason to use VW. :)

How much is the strawberry fields per 30ml bud? Cant seem to see any prices on the FB page

its interesting as the V5 is advertised as having VV, but this device does not have that, only VW, and of course the V's adjust on the fly,

I wonder if they ditched the VV?

also on the V5 you can apparently find the coil Ohms by holding down the + button for a few seconds, on this you cant, there is nothing.

although the coil resistance is shown on the little screen when you select it in options

using the iclear 30s, but the replacements coils don't seem to sit too good, got a Kanger Aerotank V2 coming tomorrow hopefully, that will live in the vamo

Did you test the coil on another device or does it say 2.1 ohms on the coil? Sometimes they're a bit off or the ohm meter in the Vamo is a tad off. It's pretty normal.

and yeh you set the wattage and it will adjust the voltage based on the ohms of the coil. for example 11 watts on a 1.6 ohm coil is 4.2V and 11 watts on a 2ohm coil is 4.7v.
 
on same settings as the MVP v2 it is a nicer vape, warmer and has more flavour, getting to like this,

looks like the vamo for home, and the MVP for work
 
interesting use for the iClear cases, I was looking for something to store my juices and clearomisers, and was about to get some wood and fashion one,

marked it out with the VAMO extension tube, and cut it our with a potato peeler, perfect circle, and does the job nicely,

Finally nailed my RDA build. Vapes like a treat now. Anyone else struggling I found dual coil of 32 gauge kanthal 6 wraps each around a 2mm drill bit @ 1.2ohms. (2.4ohms per coil).

Small amount of cotton, just enough to go through the coils and then about a cm rest on the bottom of the dripper.

Air holes need to be place right next to each coil. Will post pics later.

Yeah V5 you could switch between the two. I think the Vamo v6 is made by a different company altogether. IIRC VAMO is more like a generic term for the device. I wouldn't worry about it not having VV most dont these days, the DNA's and SX boards for example. VW is the way to go.

Take a look at the Aspire Nautilus or Mini, or better still the Beyond Vape Silo. They are the best clearo at the mo. :)

Ah shoot its in my Kayfun as we speak!

Turns out the squape I bought was £30 down the toilet. Leaks from 510 screw and the base wont come out as I think one of the posts is snapped inside of it. Blokes always been ok as I have had a few bits off him but now he is nowhere to be seen

I know that auction site is a joke but i dont mind taking a chance every once in a while.....still,serves me right i suppose. Says a lot about the state of things when Im accepting blame for being ripped off though dosnt it :mad:

Sorry to hear that, if you get another Squape make sure you put some juice around the o rings inside the base before you put the deck in, its much easier to get out.

Is there an o ring around the 510 adjuster screw?

Sadly its the way a lot of the time. One of the reasons I'm trying to move away from clones. Dont get me wrong some are ok, clone mechs and most drippers are usually pretty good, but clone tanks are almost always crap... IMO.
