Im looking and maybe possibly picking the OCUK "The Vault" PC up. But it would be the first time ive even touched anything with liquid cooling.

Does it require any maintenance once you have it?

Do they leak?

Are leaks covered by warranty?

Anything else i should be aware of with regards to liquid cooling?

Thanks in advance.

As it looks like a small custom loop you will probably have to top the fluid up at some point and do a flush / refill.

Do they leak?

Any watercooling system has a potential to leak, it's a risk we all take.

As your buying it prebuilt from OCUK I would hope so, unless it leaks due to user error i.e you remove a barb.

When it works great, nice cool temps and quiet. Always the risk of a leak when watercooling and you may have to tip your case around to get the air out of the loop when you have it delivered.

Tad on the expensive side for the PC but if you want piece of mind and warranty then buying it from OCUK would be the way you go.

It shouldn't, evaporation is so small and there is plenty in the reservoir.

Do they leak?
They won't leak when they leave here although there is a slight change of damage during transit. It's almost unheard of for a loop to randomly develop a leak unless it's tampered with.

Yes.

no, it's pretty simple these days and the fluid that we use is non-conductive.

Wheres the fun in that? :) For me half the fun in overclocking is the risk i might break it. I miss the days when if we broke something overclocking it we just bought a new one, it gave us a reason to upgrade more often.
