It's become a lot worse recently, too. AIB partners are not allowed to sell cards with factory overclocks in place. They have to be applied afterwards.

Just found out EVGA Precision is a lot better than MSI afterburner for these cards

Was using an old version of afterburner which seemed ok.

I then tried my second card in slot 3 and suddenly it was crashing with very small overclocks.

Checked the actual speed it was trying to get the card running at and it was over 2150mhz even though I was only adding +50 to the core.

Downloaded EVGA Precision and have achieved much better overclocks in Firestrike than I did with MSI Afterburner.

    Fun bench below

    mGPU AOTS DX12

    2 Pascal Titans (2016) @2050/2772
    6950X @4.4
    2160p

    2 Volta Titans @1980/1066
    7980XE @4.8
    2160p

Probably would have got a slightly better Volta score if I had used them on the 6950X as it is more efficient than my 7980XE for mGPU.

Unless I am missing something, it doesn't appear any of these programs can actually read what the voltage is?

You have cold air blowing on your V Kaap?

Also, I'm not sure what this new unlocked core voltage % from 0-100 in MSI afterburner is suppose to do.
