The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 680 SOC also known as the WindForce 5x is a very impressive GTX 680 with a whopping five fans, a massive heatsink, vapour chamber and nine heatpipes. What this offers is upto 46% better performance for the same noise load as the stock cooler, its even quieter at idling, as only two if its five fans will be active. This cooler is massively over-engineered and will never struggle with the heat output a GTX 680 can output even at maximum OC potential. This Gigabyte SOC edition is simply un-rivalled when it comes to cooling performance.

TBH, i think this is a bit of an abomination. Looks more of a roundabout guess ott card rather than something an engineer came up with.

The price is interesting, I'd like to see comparisons to this and 2 670's considering its getting close to £50 difference now and this is a 3 slot card. Not to mention the same lack of 4gb VRAM

Thats crazy, still can't believe its only got the 2Gb of VRAM considering its selling for £500+.

Shame its triple slot, would love it if they did a double slot version of the cooler for any of the other range.

The card itself is incredibly loud when at full load but you should never get that high. Honestly from most of the reviews from what I can tell, the cooling itself is capable of so much more and that the restrictions that nvidia have placed on overclocking limits the usefulness of the cooling, other than that however its a very strong card.

It will be a whole 5-10% faster than a GTX670 clock for clock.

2 x GTX670, even stock, would walk all over this.

The price is just comical.

WOW, I mean why would anyone buy one of these? The stock coolers on the 680's are very good and very quiet at idle. And with the voltage been limited by Nvidia on these cards then you can't even push it far enough to use this cooling. Triple slot too!!!

So to sum up, it's big, loud and not really usefull at all.
