Holy ****
Weren't those Subarus like £5k tops a few years ago?
The 22B was always the priciest one but that is absurd. The car market for old cars is mental at the moment.
Yeah. And they were on sale on this country... I've seen them with my own eyes, I tell you.
It has always been and will continue to be my dream car.

I am sure it is not to everyone taste, especially the styling, but it was styled and built for a purpose not to look good.
Even just a standard one would be nice, a real bargain at less than half the price of the Evo

Completely agree, unrealistic temptation is totally a singer
20mpg around town......lol.
I did 7 miles around Glasgow back in June in my ST220 before getting on the motorway, reset trip at the start of those 7 miles as I had filled up and engine was already warm. Try 12 mpg.
My last tank was 25 mpg in mixed running, they're thirsty cars.
I thought i was the only strange person in the world to want the 288 GTO. Awesome car. I'm sure I've got the story about it in an old magazine lying around somewhere and how it was basically the F40 test bed. Bonkers car.![]()
I've wanted one for years. I love it.

I was once lucky enough to get a passenger ride in an Evoluzione version around Nardo.
On the day the tune was apparently over 650 BHP, it had acceleration of 0-60 2.8 seconds, we hit a top speed of over 220 mph, all that in a 1980's car, as you say totally bonkers![]()
Been following the prices of these for a while now, rewind to 6-7 years ago and you could pick a good one up for 30k you would need double that now.
I bought a good low mileage sti
5 years ago for 6.5k and have just sold it for 6k with rusty arches, curbed wheels and knocking rear suspension![]()
