Why? Trailer gives everything away.

Desperate man > offer he can't refuse > turns out to be a shady deal > random woman = no doubt teams up and love interest > desperate man gets the girl, daughter and bad guys get caught = happy ending.

I may be wrong about the ending, but that's the way the trailer was pointing. Something we've seen a million times.

and that's why I never ever ever watch trailers or 'Here on next weeks episode'.
