More often than not everyone has a complaint or need to rant or moan about something. How about you post whats bugging you (no matter how big or small the issue), and someone can suggest a solution to your problem(s).

Let me start with some things that have annoyed or bugged me over the last few days..

- Feet lying to me, ie putting your feet in the bath to check how hot is, all feels good until you sit in and you burn your legs and backside off

- My first name pronounced in American, which is Craig, but the yanks say it like Creg or Greg :o

- Bags of sweets, such as Wine Gums, why is there only ever 4 or 5 good ones (like red or black), and the rest are rubbish green and yellow ones

- Stupid keyring finder, if you lose your keys you whistle and if you are near the keyring it beeps several times, the daft thing goes off all the time now except when I whistle at it

- Repetive words, most threads I see on here includes words like Pancakes or pasty smash, time for something new i think?

Well thats a few things thats bugged me for last couple of days :D

Now post yours, and or find a solution to some of mine above :o

Hi there Creg, had a chat with your feet apparently episode 3 comes out this month.

Have a bag of sweets, I ate all the red and black ones though.

I'm cooking some pancakes tonight and afterwards some cornish pasties with smash potato. Pasty smash.

I whistled and your keyring finder worked but I do have a unique whistle.

haha very good :)

I handed in my final assignment for uni today and now all the things that were so interesting to me while i procrastinated i now have no inclination to do.

I take it you avoided the increase in University fees then, if so think yourself lucky for that ;)

Get yourself checked for diabetes - serious

are you been serious?

if that is some sort of symptons then first I ever knew of that. Im pretty healthy and dont eat much sugary stuff.

...

Really annoys the hell out of me and I wish I could open their door and punch them in the face Grand Theft Auto style.

GTA style would be pretty good, but then think how would you like someone going GTA style on you when you become an old folkie :p

first time a lot of people find out they have it is after one of their toes has died (often been dead for a while) and then they have to have it amputated.

Does the person find the water cold with their feet or just not quite as hot as it should be?

You can lose the sensitivity in your feet and eventually have them amputated.
One of the yearly tests is having a needle jabbed in your foot and you have to tell them where you can feel it from.
At the moment I'm quite accurate.

Seems this is a form of symptoms :o

See here: http://www.diabetes.org.uk/Guide-to-diabetes/Monitoring/Feet/How-can-diabetes-affect-your-feet/

Sensory neuropathy
...

This affects the nerves that carry messages from the skin, bones and muscles to the brain and affects how we feel temperature, pain and other sensations. It is the most common form of neuropathy, mainly occurring in nerves in the feet and legs, and can lead to a loss of feeling and a failure to sense pain. This could mean that you might develop a blister or minor burn without realising it, which, if not treated properly, could become infected or develop into an ulcer.
I think a visit to the docs is what I need to do, at least then will know for sure. Thanks for mentioning it, would never of even though of it ;)

EDIT: would a blood test not reveal diabetes anyway? if so I had a blood test about 10 months ago

just a general numbness I believe.

My brother was talking about it, he said even he's seen a few people come in who've only just noticed the symptoms at a stage where basically they're going to have to have their toes or part of their foot amputated.

:(

So folks give your feet a check when you have a shower or bath along with your balls or boobs :p

Thats the problem, always playing with my balls and never checking the feet :D

But seriously, ive never heard of something like this before. I just figured your feet must be more resistant so to speak to hot water etc. When i dip my feet in first it feels ok until I get right in and its actually hotter than my feet told me :o

...

Balls first. It's the only way to be sure.

:p

Out of curiosity does anybody else get this too? I mean your feet tell you the water is OK but its actually hotter?

I dont think im diabetic, Im fairly healthy/active, it doesnt run in the family or anything.

yeah your hands feet are less sensitive to it naturally. (think it might be because they're naturally cooler.

that's why if you have a baby an giving it a bath use your elbow not your hand, as your hand will say it's "warm" when it might be near scalding.

makes perfect sense i guess :)
