Hey all, hope you are keeping well.

Whilst we have been stuck in, my birthday came round so treated myself to a setup upgrade.

I have also upgraded the CPU to pair better with the 2080 Super but after that the PC was pretty much where i wanted it so i turned focus to monitors as i was gaming on 1080p and lots of people recommended 1440p instead as a good next step to improve experience.

So, i present "The Widowmaker" setup, named aptly because i will be killing in the coming days when she finds out how much i spent on this monitor alone lol. I went for the Samsung 49" (5120x1440 @ 120hz) Super Ultrawide Monitor (C49RG90) and paired with a vert 27" Asus (1920x1080 @ 144hz) monitor (VG278Q) so i still have a secondary screen when gaming but went vertical for use when working more than anything as i am a data analyst.

Thanks all, sorry for late reply but work has been crazy during the current situation out there. Finally got some time to clean up a little and sort out the theme a little....

Not surprised, pay full price expect good quality. Seems way of world at moment, I got a Samsung CRG9 recently and got to return for repair on faulty display port and now hearing the recall on G9s it astonishes me that companies have such bad quality control especially when get up to these expensive items

You should get a water block on that graphics card. Pretty sure a thick 360 rad would handle that and CPU fine.

Yeah I'm planning to, temps aren't bad tbh but just waiting find a block I like look of enough to do it. I have another 360 rad up top ready :)
