I was in town yesterday and EVERY computer games shop had them in stock as well as a few supermarkets.

A shop had an advert in the paper today with the statement "Nintendo DS in stock this weekend". So I imagine Nintendo have shipped out more of them as well.

The Que's outside some retailers in my home town was huge, i was going in to have a look at how much wii classic controller was so i thought bugger it que was massive, so i ordered it yesterday and arrived today, Qualit ^_^

Even so, for me it's still the Nintendo player. I wouldn't buy it for anything else right now other than SMG. Their third party support is worrying and if that changes then that is what will get me to buy one.

The DS had crummy third part support for about a year, now loads of people are producing all kinds of great stuff for it.

to be honest I've been to numerous shops where they've been in stock, high street shops and a games exchange place all had what looked to be plenty of them, new and used. Seems odd that I hear they were hard to come by??
