Yesterday was manicure day, needless to say the ground was sodden and it was persisting down. I suspect many here haven't considered how cattle have their toe nails trimmed, so for their amusement and enlightenment I offer The Wilson Nail Bar. Needless to say threading the white bull through a 30 inch wide machine was fun, especially when he tangled a horn in the hydraulic hoses. No injuries and toe nails to be proud of :) Not a job for those who don't like getting very wet and dirty!

I was watching this on an Irish RSCPA series the other month and what amazed me was all the cattle were lining up to have a go and not being forced.

I've watched the Hoof GP on Youtube for quite some time and he too uses an angle grinder with special cutting discs. The fine work is done with a special knife.

What does that kind of service cost and are they are unreliable as a farrier?

I had no idea this was a thing despite growing up with dairy farmers.
