I am just starting Act 3, it certainly seems shorter than the first Witcher so far but the story is truly epic. The humour is amazing! I have genuinely laughed out loud through so much of it.
To be honest I got rather bored with it in the end hence why I'll never play it again. I thought it was getting a bit of a grind but wanted to finish and see the ending.
CD Projekt RED has confirmed that the upcoming V1.3 for The Witcher 2 will include a free piece of DLC called 'A Sackful of Fluff.' CD Projket hasn't shared a release date with anyone yet, but I'll keep you posted.
A recent Forgotten Land - Riverside, Witcher 2 Music Video on thewitcher.com offers a stylish look at The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, CD Projekt RED's RPG sequel. The video concludes mentioning the upcoming Xbox 360 edition, followed by this: "Soon new and improved PC Version 2.0," so it seems that much like the Enhanced Edition Director's Cut of the original The Witcher, the sequel will be receiving some sort of major post-release update. We may hear more about this from Gamescom this week, as word on the website is: "Last, but not least, don’t forget to watch for our announcements during the show; we’ve prepared something really special for our fans!"
GOG.com announces plans for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition, following in the footsteps of the acclaimed Enhanced Edition of the first installment in their action/RPG series. They say the Enhanced Edition is due on April 17th.New major adventures set in new locations. These consist of an underground system of chambers beneath Loc Muine and a temperate coniferous forest in the Loc Muine mountains, and a secret cave passage. These new adventures will add several hours of story-based gameplay to the game.
