This is exactly it, AMD do it as well, but seeing as their EOL last generation cards are still actually being sold as rebranded this generation cards nobody notices.....:p:D:p

Not the case i was using quadfire 5970s a year and a half after GCN was released and the performance was great, it was only because of the Vram on one of the cards was failing why i stopped using them.

DM has a point about how something's are blowing about in places where they should not and looking out of place is emphasised by the fact that the Witchers hair is not being effected at the time which it should be going by the supposed strength that the wind is blowing those objects.

Also the way the pony tail is blowing around at the 1:32 mark is totally unrealistic, stands should be blowing all over the place with that kind of force in which its flapping around at.

In my opinion TR had better results over all when it came to the hair.

Like I said, it is up to the developer to communicate with AMD to optimise it.

There is no block on sharing code with AMD. There is only a block with unlicensed vendors / programmers.

Which if you add two and two together - you should manage to figure out ;)

// NVIDIA Corporation and its licensors retain all intellectual property and
// proprietary rights in and to this software and related documentation and
// any modifications thereto. Any use, reproduction, disclosure, or
// distribution of this software and related documentation without an express
// license agreement from NVIDIA Corporation is strictly prohibited.

In other words licensed vendors / programmers are not allowed to share the code unless NVIDIA allows it, just being a licensed vendors / programmer does not automagically mean you can share it, that would require another agreement.

Drunkenmaster, you can't argue with people. They immediately shutdown once they think they're being judged for making a wrong choice. And how could you reasonably argue with a man that's defending Nvidia against his own best self-interest? Or one that takes no personal responsibility for his purchases & pretends that they have no consequences?

It is strange though how this whole fiasco with how unsupported older cards are has done nothing to dampen the zealous optimism people have for Nvidia. I guess people don't mind buying have to buy new cards every year.

The NV GPU is the new Mobile phone.

I certainly do and you and I both know what happens.

I honestly feel that people are seriously wrapped up too much with their choice of GPU at times they forget that most buy to play games, which in turn equals enjoyment. It shouldn't matter what each individual chooses to game with and regardless of a bit of banter from me from time to time, I want everyone to enjoy gaming like I do.

AMD will release a driver and nVidia will sort out their problems for their users. At the end of it, we buy for enjoyment and not to troll forums.

But you single me out when there are far far worse comments, so its just im not allowed to banter and i said nothing of users and neither do i care what others want to buy, my comment was about NVidia not its users so drop it.
