Are there any "essential" mods for this game? It's such a great looking game, and performance is brilliant... but I know Nexus is hosting mods, so what are you all using (if anything)?

I know there's a Witcher 3 thread but it's huge, so finding info on mods alone is a bit of a chore. I've had a look through Nexus, but I don't want to be installing buggy garbage.

None needed that will vastly change how the game is, most are purely cosmetic or allow you to carry a lot more.

The only one I've felt the need to use was the debug console enabler so I could spawn in a crystal that was not appearing in order to finish a quest.

Think the only one I've used is the Griffin Armor redesign, stops Geralt looking like he ate all the pies when wearing it.

infinite horse stamina/sprint through cities and no fall damage are good ones, i often find myself dying from falling off a tiny rock face

I couldn't imagine any mod improving this game but those above look good - thanks!

Adding SweetFX to this game seems completely ridiculous BTW.

How so? are you referring to the install process or the fact you think the game looks good enough already?

Adding SweetFX was the first tweak I did to The Witcher 3. IMO the game has too much of a orange/ yellow filter and dark caves weren't nearly as dark as they should be. The great thing about SweetFX/ ReShade is that there are soo many profiles you just pick the one you think looks the best and use that. For me too many profiles just went from one extreme to the other, luckily a guy over on reddit has compiled a comparison thread where you can look at the vast majority of the profiles and see what looks the best for your tastes.
