The witcher cave wall bug

There appears to be a bug in this game with the new patch 1.2
the wall in the cave chapter 1 where the boy is standing that he tells you to break down ,wont brake no matter how much Aard you use !
It seems to be common after doing a goggle search but no one appears to have an answer ,so if your thinking of buying don't bother !
Loading old loads dose not work either !

You don't seem to understand that the bug stops you progressing from chapter 1 making it a very short game !
Also it has happened to people before the patch !

Maybe reinstall the previous patch? I play it through on the 1st patch no problems.

Thanks the bug was in the demo ,once I removed the demo the wall went down and I had sex with a witch
