The Witcher: Enhanced Edition - do I need mods?

The first one did not run very well at all, very twitchy and frequent frame rate drops. I think adding any mods will make it worse.

Very good game but I stopped playing it for that very reason and I had more than enough to run it with my sig. Played Witcher 2 and was very impressed at how much more polished it was.

You even said yourself that you saw the combat mod listed so how is the combat hard coded? Maybe you should have tried the mod before uninstalling...

If you read the description it makes the game harder. The actual combat mechanics are unchanged. You run up to a monster and time your clicks, it's brainless and boring and it's the reason why I uninstalled.

I loved both games. I thought the first one was a bit slow to start with but excellent once it got going.

I prefer the combat in Witcher 2 to be honest - Geralt is squishy so you can't expect to go toe-to-toe with monsters!

What about The Witcher Texturen Mod which changes its seems a lot of textures in game have not tryed it yet but since I seen this I want to play it again
