Just a quick shout for technical help, I've been browsing forums but as of yet not found anything.
I was so looking forward to playing this, but literally 30 seconds after the opening when you've just fought the few bad guys that made it through the portcullis, I get a game freeze. The old guy asks my character "What do you think?" (or something like that) at which point the game hangs - the game doesn't crash, everything and every one is still 'alive', it just looks like they're waiting for me to select a dialogue option, but there's nothing to select.
Irritating the hell out of me now! Any ideas?
Update (for anyone else having the problem): Hmm it seems to be a well known issue that doesn't have a known fix. Some people claim a reinstall to the default directory works, others have mooted things like turning grass off, or Depth of Field off. Guess I'll have to wait until the next patch and hope it fixes it.
