Hi I am playing the above brilliant game!
I have everything on high @ 1280x1024 (I am forcing 8xQ AA and 16xAF through nvcp) The framerates are fine avg 50's, dropping in intense scenes to mid 30's. I have vsync forced on (I prefer the better visuals tearing annoys me!) anyway I have noticed some of the side scrolling to be jerky when in the town, swamp areas etc, when passing people, buildings, trees, etc, but this does not seem to affect framerate!
I am also noticing some slight pauses in game (it kinda looks like frame skipping!)
I then thought it too be a texture problem and tried setting AF to application controlled, I then was greated with a BSOD : IRQ not less than equal (nvdisp caused it!)
Has any one else had similar probs, every other game I play is fine! (all newer releases) I am on the ForceWare 169.13's, cause later drivers dont allow me to force FSAA on UT3 engine based games.
Any ideas? Could reinstalling the drivers fix this? My HDD has been defraged (O&O) Hardware is all ok, no memory leaks, etc. Witcher is at latest release, patch v1.2.
