The world's most boring thread...

Had the same thing happen to me. Although this time my doctor prescribed the wrong dosage. Instead of the 0.1% active ingredient she prescribed the 1% active ingredient. I only noticed this when reading the leaflet which advised to never start on a high dose but start on the lowest and work my way up.

I called the pharmacist and they said they could dispose of it bit that's all. I was none too pleased as I had to pay for the prescription!.
 
It's a bit off that if a doctor prescribes the wrong thing you still have to eat the cost of replacement. There should at least be a way of getting a corrected prescription at no charge.

I can see why a pharmacy won't take anything back though, they could never resell it as they have no idea what happens to it once it leaves their store.
