Confirmed X-Files will be back with new season 11!

I hope the first episode will see Scully and Mulder beamed aboard UFO to meet their son William or aliens to take care of Mulder and the UFO warped travelling to see aliens' home planet to meet their son William there.

Season 11 will start production in summer 2017.

I wasn't a huge fan of all the current day politics in the last new season, hopefully the dial that down a bit in the new one. That said perhaps, having watched the originals 10-20 years after they were made they had just as much of their times politics in as well.

They used the term event series for this one, might be one continuous series rather than the monster of the week like the last series.

I actually liked the lizard bloke. But do re-watch the originals, they too had filler dross. Not enough tinfoil these days, methinks.

Yeah I liked the Kiwi lizard bloke as well.

Let me guess, this series of will feature a plot involving a sinister group of white men "hacking" an election, fake news and the conspiracy theorists turned out to be bad guys all along. I'll still watch it of course, it's the X-Files.

One needs a twist. And Scorza always goes for the twist.

After Westworld, I wouldn't be surprised if they nest the chase a touch more. A feature of modern drama, if you will. He might be interpreting it too much ahead of time, in line with his private obsessions, though.

just finished watching all 9 seasons +The Lone Gunman, just need to watch the Event Series now

and yes i noticed there was a new one in the works when i started looking to see if there was a season 10 to watch
