If a fine wine over time could be a person it would be Gillian Anderson. If the reboot centred around a mysterious alien cheerleader whose goal was to turn wheat into corn i'd stil watch it as long as she's involved.

Seriously though, never really watched the original series, the only episode I can casually remember watching with my GF at the time , was the only one with the guy who could stretch his fingers like Mr Fantastic.
