And i'm saying this having upgraded from a relatively newish x800xt 256mb 
I didn't imagine the leap in performance to be so large quite honestly, especially for the small sum of £150, almost under half of what i paid for my x800xt about 2 years ago.
I must say too the sapphire model is extremely quiet. Barely audible when idle, and still not loud when under load. However, if you have a cramped or small case be wiery as this card is long! Didnt measure it exactly but at least 33% longer than my x800xt and even that was quite long
Considering i don't play games that often anymore, £150 is quite a lot to invest but still cant help but feel it a worthy upgrade even if i am giving my old x800xt away to my cousin (he's one lucky lad
) The most obvious improvement was seen in Call Of Duty 2 in DX9 mode. Prior to the x1950, it was unplayable at 1280 with the x800xt even without AA/AF. Now i can play it at 1280 with 4xaa/8xaf in full DX9 mode and my gosh it looks nice. Not tried any others but im sure the effect will hopefully be similar.
So.. to any of those out there disputing whether to get one or not, get one. An absolute great price for a great card.
